Latest Updates from Our Project:

So long, factory! Hello, ocean!
6 days ago – Thu, Jul 18, 2019 at 12:34:58 AM

We received word today that the three mini-expansions have officially left the factory and started the journey to our fulfillment warehouse. At the moment, the container is expected at the warehouse in late August, which means that we expect to start shipping rewards in September.

While we wait for the container to make its way across the ocean, it would be wrong of us to not remind you to keep an eye on your favorite local game store for the latest Munchkin releases. And if you don't have a local store, you can always visit Warehouse 23 for all of your Munchkin needs! Thanks for the continued support, gang! We'll be back once we have more info on the project fulfillment.

Production Samples Approved!
about 1 month ago – Mon, Jun 17, 2019 at 09:56:07 PM

All three of the new Munchkin mini-expansions that are being created as a part of this project are now officially completed and approved! The factory sent over our final production samples -- copies of the expansions pulled from the final printing -- and Sabrina reviewed and approved the three sets this morning. We're still on track to load these onto a container next month!!!

Once we ship these to project backers, the three new titles will join all of the other mini-expansions that we have published over the years. While you wait for us to update the project once the titles go on the boat, see the full list of mini-expansions at the official Munchkin website. That's a lot of cards!

Status Report and BackerKit Surveys
about 1 month ago – Mon, Jun 10, 2019 at 02:58:00 AM

On the manufacturing side, the carton markings -- the product details that are printed on the shipping cases -- have been approved, the tooling samples for the promo pack have been approved, and the project continues to move toward the finish line. At the moment, we still look on track for the project to be loaded onto a container by mid-July.

With the factory on task and working to finish their part of the project, it is time that we direct our attention to the BackerKit surveys and wrapping up that stage of the campaign. There are 119 of you who have not yet completed your surveys, so now it is time that we ask: Please complete your survey ASAP! Without a completed survey, we cannot ship your rewards.

If you're unsure of whether or not you have completed your survey, please search your email for "munchkin survey confirmation" and check out the results. If you need assistance with your survey, please email kickstart@sjgames.com for support and the team will do all they can to help you out.

A Munchkin Summer!

In other Munchkin news, it is shaping up to be a busy season for our team. We have both the Origins and Gen Con conventions coming up, where we'll be running games and showing off the newest titles, as well as a series of new Munchkin titles that are slated to reach game stores and Warehouse 23 over the next few months.

What's the summer newness for Munchkin? Check out the official Munchkin website to see all of the new stuff, including expansions for Munchkin Warhammer 40,000!

Factory Update
about 2 months ago – Thu, May 30, 2019 at 02:47:47 AM

Yesterday, David and I spent about four hours reviewing all of the Steve Jackson Games projects that are either at the factory or set to go to print soonish. As a part of the project(s) review, we spent time going over the latest news on the three mini-expansions that are being created thanks to your support . . . and we have some great news!

All three of the new Munchkin mini-expansions, as well as the promo pack, are (at this moment) ahead of schedule and should complete production at the factory by mid-July. That puts the project reaching our fulfillment warehouse in late August or early September, and U.S. shipping starting in late September or early October. The exact timing of shipping rewards to backers will depend on other projects that are ahead of this one in the queue, though we're almost 100% certain to deliver the U.S. rewards no later than by the end of October.

International rewards will ship as quickly as we can manage. The exact timing of delivery will depend on many variables outside of our control (the paperwork never ends!), though we're still on track to deliver international rewards no later than originally estimated.

We have more Munchkin projects set to launch on Kickstarter later this year. Please be sure you're following both the Steve Jackson Games and the Warehouse 23 accounts here on Kickstarter so that you don't miss out on some fun expansions and accessories!

We always have new ideas and new projects. These 25mm metal dice prototypes arrived recently and now all we can ask you is: Who would like to see metal Munchkin dice that follow the same design and manufacturing process as these dice? Click the image to learn more about how we made the dice.
